Modeler Word : “Originally, this build was based on Heine Westenfluss’ recolour of the Destiny Gundam. But since he *censored spoiler*, I chose to repaint the kit dominantly in red (the client chose it so yeah) and added the violet for that menacing effect the Destiny deserves along with hints of orange to highlight a few details.
Again, this was visualized with the help and encouragement of @gundamguydranz (whom I’ll never stop thanking.) At first there were doubts, and I just went YOLO to finding the rhythm and flow of how to incorporate the colours with the added panel lines I scribed for the kit. After much use of masking tape, paint stripper and primer, the Re[D]estiny was born (I would say this was Dranz’ and my baby but he’ll never accept our child out of wedlock. Plus what would our girlfriends say? 🤔)
Kidding aside, this hobby is much more fun if you get to share your passion with others. So don’t be scared, share away your snap builds and customs. People of the same wavelength will always be there to help you if you’re in a rut! ❤️”
