Modeler Word : “This build was meant to be a throwaway fun build to pair with @thesaintism own Demi Barding in the Strike Gundam + Gunbarrel colours. Most importantly, it was going to be a palette cleanser before I started working on my GBWC UK entry. Naturally, I thought what better to partner the Strike Gundam colourway then an Athrun/Justice/Aegis etc colourway!
I painted this in a custom mix to get as close as possible to the Justice/Infinite Justice gundam with a green contrast in the thrusters to match with the various sensors on the kit. For the most part I used various mixes of Finisher’s paints as I normally do. I feel like this is one of my better shading jobs lately and am particularly happy as really think my shading game hasn’t been on point last few builds!
What was supposed to be a chilled build turned out to be an almost try-hard build with me doing the most with the masking – I’m really happy I did that to be honest!
