The frame is very similar to the old IBO MGs and the Vidar that came out earlier this year – and it really is fun to build. Adding a bit of extra detail to the frame is totally worth the effort because it will still be visible after you put the armour on!

The kit itself is pretty good, although it does have one or two surprising issues. The most notable is the seam line going down the middle of the forearms. I really have no idea why Bandai would design these parts like this as it’s quite unsightly for the front of a modern MG.

Besides that, the kit goes together well – the shoulder and hand joints are quite tight, most likely to support the big weapons its holding so pay mind to that if painting (I’d recommend masking off all the connectors).

I tried adding a bit of light weathering as well to the build – which I think I’m happy with!
