After some deliberation, I painted this in the typical Loki colours, inserting hints of gold for some contrast in choice places alongside the use of gold decals. The grey-green, green and frame colours are all custom mixes using Finisher’s Super Shell White, Carbon Mat Black, Brilliant Green, Gaia Notes Viridian Green and Mr Color Interior Turquoise. The gold was AT Color Pearl Gold.
My initial view of RGs were really poor having sworn off them after building the RG Grandpa and RG Aile Strike more than 12 years ago. Having built the RG Sword Impulse and now this RG God, I think RGs have come a long way to the point where I actually enjoyed the build! Add to the fact that this kit was extremely poseable as well (though I avoided playing with it too much to avoid chipping!).”
