What can I say about this kit? It’s absolutely stunning but definitely not for beginners. I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, which is why I didn’t post any build progress along the way.
This is the DABAN 6650 Sakura Freedom, and while it’s a bootleg, it still managed to impress in some areas. The plastic quality isn’t the best (as expected), but the details? They’re honestly no joke as you can see from the photos.
This one took me a while to finish because of all the extra work I had to put in detailing, cleaning, and forcing some parts to actually fit. But in the end, I’m proud of how it turned out. ✨
Would I build it again? Probably not. Once was enough! But hey, at least the Sakura Freedom is pretty 😁”
