This kit absolutely delivers. From the layered armor and incredible mechanical detail to the opening gimmicks and massive silhouette, it was one of those builds that kept surprising me from start to finish.

The engineering is solid, the fit is excellent, and there’s no shortage of details to bring out with paint, panel lining, and decals. It feels like a kit that rewards taking your time.

My only real complaint would be the included waterslide decals—they’re a bit on the cheaper side compared to what I’d expect for a kit of this quality. That said, it doesn’t take away from what is otherwise an outstanding build.

If you’ve been thinking about adding the GP02A to your collection, I can easily recommend it. It’s an absolute beast on the shelf and was one of the most enjoyable projects I’ve worked on.
